Femtec – Terms of Use

With Femtec’s “Terms of Use” we want to summarise all applicable manners and rules for the use of the online platform in order to create transparency.

We are a network …The Femtec Campus Network is not just any network, but has a specific goal – to support and promote you as active or former scholarship holders in your studies, when starting your career and on your further career path. In addition to our wide range of programmes, we also do this by providing you with a virtual infrastructure to enable you to network independently. Your professional biographical information, current contact details, shared document storage on our online platform and, last but not least, group mailing lists will help you in this.

The fact that Femtec can offer this is due to the fact that we have a unique community of supporters. The financial participation and commitment of our partners from the business world are constitutive for Femtec Campus – as is the commitment of the universities.

For this reason, and in line with Femtec Campus’ self-image, it is part of the responsible interaction with our partners to guarantee you exclusivity in the network with regard to the dissemination of job offers and recruiting information.

We are aware that there are many more – and certainly equally attractive – employers out there and that you would like to exchange information about them. This is completely legitimate and, of course, desirable in terms of networking, but not within the framework of Femtec Campus. You are free to exchange all kinds of information personally and individually, but the official Femtec Campus channels are reserved for information from our partners.

… that can only exist with the following basic rules:

• Upon registration each user receives an individual password. Access to the services in the community is only possible with this password. In the event of loss of the password or in the event of reasonable suspicion that a third party has gained knowledge of the password, the user is obliged to immediately change the password and to inform the administrators of Femtec Campus by e-mail.
• Each user may have her registration deleted at any time. Upon deletion of the registration, the right to participate in the Femtec Campus portal terminates.
• The personal data of other scholarship holders will be handled in confidence. Under no circumstances will personal data be passed on to non-network members or to third parties for advertising or recruiting purposes.
• No content will be placed on the online platform or distributed via its mailing list that could be perceived by other users as offensive, defamatory or irreverent. Femtec GmbH has the right to delete a user’s account or individual contributions by a user if they are contrary to common decency or applicable law.
• No files will be uploaded or sent that are infected with a virus or that give the appearance of being infected.
• The Femtec Campus portal may contain links to third-party websites. Femtec GmbH does not check the content and design of third party websites and does not assume any responsibility for the content and design of third party websites, nor does it adopt these websites and their content as its own. If Femtec GmbH notices or is informed by third parties that the specific content of a third-party website to which it has provided a link may result in liability under civil or criminal law, it will delete the link.
• Job offers and information relating to non-partners are not distributed in the official Femtec mailing lists. This includes the publication of job offers in the Femtec Campus portal.
• The user undertakes not to publish any posts that violate copyright, trademark, antitrust or competition laws. The user must ensure that she has the appropriate rights of use for the content (videos, photos, audio) she has posted.
• The respective user retains the copyright for the published posts. By publishing her post on the Femtec Campus portal, she assigns to Femtec GmbH the right to make the post permanently available and accessible within Femtec Campus.
