The website https://campus.femtec.org uses cookies to improve user-friendliness. 6. Social Plugins

We use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Xing.

The plug-ins enable you to interact with social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user.

(1) We use the so-called two-click-solution: When you visit our site, no personal data is passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognise the provider of the plug-in by the initial letter or logo of the provider of the plug-in. We give you the opportunity to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked box and thereby activate it, the plug-in provider will receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. In the case of Facebook and Xing, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after it is collected. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (with US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser’s security settings before clicking on the grey box.

(2) We have no influence on the collected data and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing and the storage periods. We also have no information about the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected by us will be directly assigned to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you click on the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider will also save this information in your user account and publicly share it with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button, as you can then avoid being assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

You have the right to object to the social media service regarding the use of the data. In this case you are required to contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right.

(3) Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the data protection declarations of these providers, which are provided below. There, you will also find further information on your rights and settings options to protect your privacy.

For the integration of videos, we use the provider Vimeo, among others. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC, headquartered at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, and on some of our websites we use plug-ins from Vimeo. When you access and use the sub-pages of our website that are equipped with such a plug-in – for example, when you play a video – a connection to the Vimeo servers is established and the plug-in is displayed. This tells the Vimeo server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of Vimeo, Vimeo assigns this information to your personal user account. When you use the plugin, such as when you click on the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your Vimeo user account before using our website and deleting the corresponding cookies from Vimeo.
